My good friend, Dawn (Engle) Hilliard has a GoPro camera and has taken some amazing footage of various rides around the NE Region.

This one in particular gives me chills.

I’ve finished the VT 100 twice on Ned, Ace has finished it once, and I’ve ridden the Moonlight 50 another handful of times.  It is the site of a concurrent 100 mile ultra-run (yes, humans) which makes it that much more magical.

But don’t take my word for it; see for yourself.

In a little bit of “wowsa!” trivia, Dawn’s horse got a little bit girth sore toward the end of the ride.  Rather than further sore up the horse, she simply rode up and down those hills, during complete darkness sans girth and breast collar.   I humbly bow at your horsemanship, equitation and guts, girl!
